TRUMP AND XI JUST STRUCK A DEAL, BUT MARKETS WANTED MORE

Trump and Xi agreed to extend their trade truce by two months and cut tariffs on roughly $30 billion of goods each way, plus launch a formal US-China AI dialogue. Markets closed the week higher, but analysts called the deliverables "limited," with rare earths, Taiwan and Iran all unresolved.
